Fatih Aydogdu was born in Turkey, lives and works in Vienna and Istanbul. He studied at Academy of Fine Arts in İstanbul and graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Aydogdu is visual artist, designer, sound artist and curator, focused on concepts of media aesthetics, migration & politics of identity and linguistical issues.

Communication Workshop was very active and entertaining for high school students from Izmir. The Communication Workshop, organized by the Faculty of Communication of Izmir University of Economics, was held on January 15-16.

IEU Cinema and Digital Media professors Aras Özgün and Deborah Hardt acted as workshop leaders at the Documentary Film Workshop at Bilkent University from the 20th to 22nd of December 2018. Titled “Tell me your story” and funded by the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey, the three days long workshop brought Syrian refugee youth with Bilkent University students.

Uşak Kanatlı Denizatı Short Film Festival, which is the first and only film festival of the city of Uşak, started in 2014. Department of Cinema and Digital Media instructor Berk Tuğcu made a series of workshops for Uşak Kanatlı Denizatı Short Film Festival between 10-14 December.
