The short documentary Rengê Kevir by Tuğba Yaşar, a 2024–2025 graduate of the Department of Cinema and Digital Media, won the Best Documentary Film Award in the National Student Films Competition at the 32nd International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival.
Produced as part of the CDM 332: Digital Media Arts Studio course, Yaşar’s film constructs a narrative at the intersection of the personal and the social. Starting from a family album, Rengê Kevir traces how collective memory is transformed from one generation to the next.
We congratulate our alumni, who has added a new achievement to the Department of Cinema and Digital Media’s success at the Golden Boll Film Festival, and wish her continued success!
