CDM students won an award the KHAS Short Film Festival!
Double Exposure, directed by Ömer Nakay and Oğuz Kaan Kurt, students of the Cinema and Digital Media Department at İzmir University of Economics, won the third-place award at the KHAS Short Film Festival held in Istanbul.
The film, shot under the guidance of Dr. Hazal Bayar and Serdar Kökçeoğlu as part of the CDM 231: Digital Film Studio I course, revolves around a photographer girl who takes her own photo and searches for herself. The film, which was made using unconventional equipment, also drew attention at the festival with its creative editing techniques.
