CDM senior year student Ecem has been selected to the Animation category at Adana Altın Koza Film Festival
CDM 4th-grade student Ecem Çörtle has been selected as a finalist in the National Student Films category of the 30th International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival with her artificial intelligence-based and science-fiction-themed film, "The Galactic Treasure", which she produced as part of the CDM302: Film Production II course in the 3rd year.
Ecem expressed that being a finalist in the National Student Films Animation Category of the 30th International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival was a fantastic experience for her. She mentioned attending various film screenings and discussions, meeting many people from the industry, and having the opportunity to talk and debate about films and cinema.
Ecem described her film 'The Galactic Treasure' as: "Faye, a young explorer, embarks on a perilous journey towards a black hole to uncover a legendary treasure rumored to possess 'unimaginable wealth.' Armed only with an artificial intelligence named SARA, she navigates through an awe-inspiring space tomb, solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles. Faye's quest takes an unexpected turn when she encounters a cosmic creature that guards the real treasure and challenges the concept of wealth."
